Each year, over 1,000 students dive into more than 20,000 hours of math enrichment, discovery, and wonder through Cambridge Math Circle.  Math comes alive in our classrooms, where students tackle logic puzzles, explore deep math topics, and hear from inspiring STEM professionals about everything from the mystery of black holes to cutting-edge robotics technologies.

But not every child has the same chance to experience math joy. With your support, low-income students can join CMC's programs, gaining the confidence, curiosity, and problem-solving skills that will sent them on the path to future math innovators.

Cambridge Math Circle aims to serve all students, with a special focus on those who are traditionally underrepresented in STEM fields. Since our founding in 2018, we have served over 3,200 students in Cambridge, giving elementary and middle school students a chance to experience deep, fascinating math and meet others who like solving puzzles and stretching their minds.​​

We offer citywide after-school and weekend classes during the the school year, and a summer program.  All are aimed at promoting and encouraging the love of mathematics and the development of problem-solving skills.

Mission

Cambridge Math Circle provides equitable access to high-quality math and problem solving enrichment to all students, regardless of income level, with a focus on students in grades 1-8 that are underrepresented in STEM. 

Vision

Cambridge Math Circle envisions a future where any student interested in pursuing mathematics and problem solving can access programs that spark their curiosity and develop their ‘math minds’ so they can pursue work in any STEM field they desire.
