Cambridge Math Circle has grown from 20 students in 2018, to over 1,500 students served last school year. We are transforming how students' view math by giving them a postive experience with fun, engaging problems unlike ones they might have seen before. For all kids, but especially for kids who love challenging math, we create a community of math lovers for all, regardless of family income.

Join us and help make our work possible!

We need to raise $50,000 for our end-of-year campaign by the end of December. While 52% of our revenue comes from tuition, the remainder comes from grants and individual donors like you!

Your support makes entire programs possible, and is a huge part of how we're able to offer over $250,000 in scholarships to more than 490 children, allowing them to attend our classes and summer programming.

Your gift today will make sure that all students will continue to have access to fun, challenging math, no matter their family's income!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR RUNNERS FOR RACING! NOW, HELP THEM MEET THEIR FUNDRAISING GOALS!
To launch our end-of-year campaign, our team of dedicated runners participated in the CambridgeSide Half-Marathon in support of CMC on Nov. 2: Inderjeet Singh, Lauren Williams, Margo Levine and Nataliya Yufa! These wonderful folks are ran 13.1 miles to help make sure all kids have access to enrichment math!

Donate below to help the runners meet their goals!

With gratitude,

Team CMC

Support CMC's Runners for 2025!

Inderjeet Singh
Goal: $1,500
      Raised as of 11/3: $533.80

Inderjeet (Inder) Singh is a parent of a CMC alum Dhruv and an avid long-distance runner who's completed more half-marathons than he can count. Inder's son, Dhruv, had been an enthusiastic CMC student for over 4 years. It was a joy having Dhruv at CMC! In addition to his love of math, Dhruv also loves running with his dad. This is Inder's 3rd time running the CambridgeSide Half-marathon for team CMC.
Thank you to Inderjeet's donors: Anonymous 1, Diane Lam, Praveen, Anonymous 2, Alham Saadat and Alex Radosevich.

Lauren Williams
Goal:
 $1,500      Raised as of 11/3: $757.70

Lauren K. Williams is the Dwight Parker Robinson Professor of Mathematics in the Harvard Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Her research is in algebraic combinatorics; more specifically, she uses algebraic tools to study discrete structures in mathematics. Lauren is a recipient of the 2025 MacArthur Fellowship. She is a also a parent of two CMC alums and a guest lecturer at CMC. Lauren is also an avid long-distance runner. This is her 2nd time running for team CMC.
Thank you to Lauren's donors: Alison Beth Miller, Genevieve Williams, Anonymous, Lynne Diaz, Anonymous, Anonymous 314, Alham Saadat and Alex Radosevich.

Margo Levine
Goal:  $1,500
     Raised as of 11/3: $1,181.42

Margo Levine is the Co-Director of Undergraduate Studies in Applied Mathematics at Harvard University.  She was an undergraduate at Cornell University, and earned a PhD in Engineering Sciences and Applied Mathematics from Northwestern University. She worked for several years on medical imaging, at the University of Chicago and at Harvard Medical School, before joining Harvard College in 2011. She feels very strongly about promoting math literacy and engagement at all levels, from kindergarten to college. When not teaching math, Margo can be found teaching math. Margo has been a guest speaker at CMC multiple times. She is also an avid long-distance runner. This is Margo's first time running the CambridgeSide Half-marathon for team CMC.
Thank you to Margo's donors: Shawdee Eshghi, Inder Aahva & Nikita, Katie Michels, Sheri Simmons, VM, Lois & Patrick, Borjan Gagoski, Fik and Karen, Anonymous, Jen Aronson, Alice M, Christine Sample, Alham Saadat and Alex Radosevich.

Nataliya Yufa
Goal:  $2,000
    Raised as of 11/3: $1,158.82

Nataliya first got hooked on teaching math in 1st grade, when trying to solve a particularly hard math problem while walking home from school with a friend. As an undergrad at MIT, she got hooked on mathematical research - working in knot theory and algebraic geometry applied to materials science. While working on her Ph.D. in physics in Chicago, Nataliya caught the teaching bug, working with undergrads at U Chicago, and K-12 students and adults in STEM outreach. On the South Side of Chicago, where the inequities in educational opportunities are particularly great, she identified math as the thing that would hold back low-income, underrepresented students from high-paying, stable jobs in STEM. Nataliya worked for 2 years as a researcher at a math education nonprofit, and eventually transitioned to the classroom, and then co-founded The Cambridge Math Circle with Mira Bernstein in 2018. In her free time, Nataliya likes to play piano, bake and go for (very) slow long-distance runs.
Thank you to Nataliya's donors: Azadeh Moradinezhad, Virginia V Williams, Loren & Petra, Edison Shi & Adeline Shi, CM, Jing Jiang, Jingshi Hu & Juanzi Li, Penny Haney, Anonymous, Piyush Kumar, Sophia, Igor Belakovskiy, Ken Fan, Alham Saadat and Alex Radosevich.

Mission

Cambridge Math Circle provides equitable access to high-quality math and problem solving enrichment to all students, regardless of income level, with a focus on students in grades 1-8 that are underrepresented in STEM.

Vision

Cambridge Math Circle envisions a future where any student interested in pursuing mathematics and problem solving can access programs that spark their curiosity and develop their ‘math minds’ so they can pursue work in any STEM field they desire.

Simply - we want math to bring students joy.
